Holy Myrrh-bearing Mary Magdalen: Life, Service and Akathist Hymn

Even in the account given in Holy Scripture, which leaves off long before her repose, the holy Myrrh-bearer stands out as specially blessed. Her later life, known from the earliest days to the Church and recounted in the life by St. Dimitri here translated, should be equally familiar to us. The liturgical service and akathist hymn in her honor should be of special value to those of us who are particularly in need of a repentant heart.
