Gold-Plated Wedding Crowns with Icon Roundels and Triangular Ornaments

A pair of finely crafted wedding crowns from Greece. Each crown consists of a gold-plated metallic diadem, which adjusts from 7″ to 7¾″ in diameter, encircled by filigree with four triangular ornaments and ten glass stones—the stones of one crown are blue, the other, red. The central tine is embellished with an Icon roundel—one is of Christ, the other, of the Theotokos—framed by a circlet of glass stones—blue for Christ, red for the Theotokos.
