“It has been my good fortune to have known Dr. Cavarnos for over three decades and to have read virtually all of his published work in Greek and English. It has also turned out that I have been the only person to have had the distinction of having reviewed all thirty-three of his books (i.e., all that have been published to date). It seemed, therefore, only appropriate that this collection of reviews be presented to him[...]as he completes a major phase of his professional life and begins another in the country to which he has given so much over the course of his lifetime. [...T]his book will serve as a modest recognition of a lifetime of work ‘eis osmen euodias pneumatikes’ (as an offering of spiritual fragrance).”
